Position Description:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst (Registration and Scheduling) supports multiple applications and their respective customers. He/She works with the Patient Access departments and ITS Managers and staff to support a full suite of primary applications and related peripheral applications including department-centric software and technological solutions to meet the goals of the organization. He/She identifies, analyzes and documents user requirements by partnering with application Super User and Subject Matter Experts; recommends appropriate applications and/or modifications. This calls for developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the application set, working with the user community to define their needs, and designing and delivering application solutions to meet those needs and improve the operational and financial positions of the Health System.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst (Registration and Scheduling) is the primary contact for Cerner Millennium Patient Access functions, including but not limited to Scheduling Management, Registration Management (registration, admitting, transfers and discharges) and Practice Management (Ambulatory Clinic Scheduling and Registration). He/She enhances systems and processes for both our acute and physician offices customer base, and serves as the application expert and primary support contact. Experience with Cerner Millennium Patient Access, Practice Management and the Clinically Driven Revenue Cycle is beneficial. The analyst will have a key role in Change Analysis, Incident Analysis, and Problem Analysis; reporting to the respective Committees

Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Required

1 - 3 years of EMR experience - Required
