We are seeking a qualified and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager, responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of the authorization and billing cycle to ensure maximization of cash flow while optimizing patient, physician, and employee relations.

Requirements

To be considered for the Revenue Cycle Manager position, you will need:

• Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment
• 2 years experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management
• Prior authorization and utilization review experience in a hospital or healthcare insurance setting
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field

Revenue Cycle Manager Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining improved processes and workflows to ensure efficiency within the revenue cycle to maximize revenue relative to patient and insurance authorizations, concurrent reviews, collections, claims submission, and coding
• Executing plans to avoid, reduce, and resolve denials and rejections
• Managing key revenue cycle performance indicators (KPIs) through data driven analytics
• Overseeing and performing the processes for retrospective authorizations and denials/appeals
• Timely communicating preauthorization outcomes, follow-up instructions, options, and related information to the treatment team
• Providing interdepartmental assistance in determining the likelihood of insurances covering treatment
• Documenting activity in Billing and UR software and preparing reports for meetings and management review
• Identifying payor trends and issues, communicate issues and proposed improvement solutions
• Ensuring that patient records are handled in compliance with HIPAA
• Participating in internal information meetings, required education and training, and company performance improvement and compliance activities

Pay: $85,000-$125,000
