We are presently seeking a seasoned Revenue Cycle Manager for our state licensed and Joint Commission certified treatment centers officing from Houston, TX.
Position Description:
The focus of this role is to oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle process including insurance verification, precertification, authorizations, coding, charge entry, claims submission, electronic payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up and reporting for Positive Recovery Centers.
Essential Functions:
§ Standardize and maintain processes that impact revenue cycle including identifying problems and or processes, as well as recommending and implementing corrective actions, solutions, and/or efficiencies.
§ Review and communicate general health insurance and eligibility/benefits clearance information to internal teams and clients.
§ Plan and direct team to perform pre-verification of client insurance as necessary, time of service collections, and charge entry to ensure accurate client billing and efficient account collection.
§ Develop and implement monitoring tools that ensure process standardization and compliance are maintained.
§ Coordinate with managers, senior leadership team, and other stakeholders to improve performance, address issues, and lead development of Revenue Cycle reporting and analytics.
§ Manage daily operations the RCM team, coach, promote teamwork, and take necessary action to facilitate achievement of performance targets.
§ Recommend modifications to established practices or system functionality, and implement changes as needed to support the revenue cycle.
§ Ensure that patient business service activities maintain compliance with Positive Recovery standards, State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations, and client contracts.
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
§ Minimum of 3 years of RCM, business application support experience/data management or analysis experience within the substance abuse and/or behavioral health industries.
§ Possess excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate through verbal and digital communications
§ Able and willing to travel to intrastate facilities as needed – up to 25%
§ Proficient using general computer skills and previous experience with an electronic health record program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
