The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Revenue Representative to join our team. Under the general direction of the Payment and Reporting Manager the Payment Representative assists the department in reimbursement maximization. Work involves the processing of payments received from payers in order to meet collection targets. Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

What you will do:

• Process and analyze Explanation of Benefits from 3rd Party Payers.
• Create, apply and process all denied/rejected/unpaid claims for 3rd Party Payers.
• Process remittances/invoices from various agency departments.
• Balance and Post all 3rd Party Payments in designated Agency software system.
• Track and log all payment remittances.
• Identifies possible refunds from duplicate payments or deleted payments or deleted claims.
• Identifies possible refunds from duplicate payments or deleted claims.
• Identifies discrepancies with insurance policy coverage.
• Identifies payment problems or noted areas of concern within the scope of their responsibilities.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
• Must have one year of reimbursement experience.
• The person must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills and be a team player with a desire to provide a high level of customer service; possess strong verbal and written communication skills and interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Should have excellent written, verbal and communication. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters and ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of the agency.
