POSITION

RFP Response Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

Responsible for supporting field teams with RFI and RFP responses to develop and drive strategic sales

WHAT YOU WILL DO

RFI / RFP Assessment and Prioritization

Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify RFI / RFP driven opportunities
Assess RFx opportunities for fit with DigiCert solutions and capabilities
Accurately identify requirements, customer priorities and target dates of multiple proposals

Proposal Development Coordination

Support RFx owners in delivering high-impact, visually compelling, and complete proposals on time.
Facilitate business and technical responses from appropriate stakeholders
Perform final reviews of deliverables to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality

RFP Process & Resource Improvements

Recommend and implement improvement to RFP processes
Collaborate with technical, sales and marketing teams to drive improvements in tools, templates, and resources
Develop resources to effectively differentiate DigiCert from competitors and support recommendations within proposal
Champion RFx visibility and education internally, including training and enablement of sales teams

Proposal Opportunity Expansion & Monitoring

Ensure DigiCert is a registered vendor for key accounts and meets bid requirements for select regulated sectors / entities
Support sales teams on advising customers on RFx processes and evaluation processes
Monitor RFP pipeline: analyze wins and losses to determine improvement areas
Prepare reports to senior leaders on RFP pipeline and results

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE (REQUIRED)

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or other marketing-related field
3-5 years’ experience working with RFx and bid processes or related strategic or business-case driven sales motions
Strong research and analysis skills to understand industry, customers, and segment requirements
Excellent commercial acumen and creativity to develop unique solutions that go beyond minimum requirements
Ability to effectively communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing to internal and external audiences
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage various priorities and stakeholders
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to develop and execute plans in a fast-paced environment

BONUS EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED)

Understanding of RFx landscape for information security technologies
Familiarity with Salesforce, Atlassian, and RFP management solutions
Demonstrated interest in or understanding of information security technologies and markets.
