Cell Operator:
The purpose of the Cell Operator is to carry out all production activities and quality checks relative to the cell operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately observe, measure and record product characteristics as noted on inspection plans and process sheets.
• Act properly and timely when out of control conditions or nonconforming product is detected.
• Effectively communicate job related information.
• Maintain a clean safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as required.

Competency Requirements:

• Understand the use of the SPC programs for molding characteristic variables.
• Understand process sheets used in the cell operation.
• Understand and follow internal quality policy and job related procedures.
• Proficient at use of measuring equipment used in the cell area.
• Combined responsibility for total production in designated cell.

Sizing Operator:
The purpose of the Sizing Operator is to carry out all production activities relative to the sizing operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Properly observe and record product as noted on control plans and process sheets.
• Act properly and timely when nonconforming process or product is detected.
• Effectively communicate job-related information.
• Maintain a clean safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as required.

Competency Requirements:

• Understand and have the ability to perform safety check on sizing presses.
• Understand process sheets used in the sizing operation.
• Understand and follow internal quality policy and job-related procedures.
• Knowledge and use of measuring equipment used in the sizing area.
• Perform sizing operations.

Sintering Operator:
The purpose of the Sinter/Steam Treat Operator is to carry out all production activities relative to loading and unloading parts at the sintering furnace and steam treaters.
Key Responsibilities:

• Properly observe, load, unload and record product as noted on control plans and process sheets.
• Act properly and timely when nonconforming process or product is detected.
• Effectively communicate job-related information.
• Maintain a clean safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as required.

Competency Requirements:

• Understand process sheets used in the sintering/steam treat
• Understand and follow internal quality policy and job-related procedures.
• Load and unload sintering furnace and steam treater.
