We are seeking a dynamic RN Supervisor to join our team. This would be primarily day shift with the ability to be on an on call rotation.
**
*Clinical Nurse Supervisor Job Responsibilities: *
Promotes patient’s health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area.
Mentors, develops, and oversees staff, including communicating job expectations and providing coaching and development of employees.
Collaborates with DON and Case Managers to implement patient care.
Provides support for patients, and their families.
Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; and identifying improvements.
Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport.
Completes patient care requirements by assigning LPN’s and floor staff and following up on work results.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional support to patients and families and our staff.
Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting policies and protocols, and by enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
Maintains nursing supplies inventory based usage reports, identifying trends, anticipating needed supplies, and approving requisitions and cost allocations.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, and participating in team problem-solving methods.

*Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: *
Registered Nurse (RN)
Active applicable state licensure in Minnesota
3+ years of experience- Long term health care preferred
