The Trempealeau Co Health Care Center has openings for full-time/part-time nurses and LPN’s. Day and Night shifts available. The positions provide general nursing care to residents who are elderly, intellectually disabled, physically disabled and/or mentally ill under the direction of the Medical Director.
$24.62 - $39.03/hour

Responsibilities
- Explain procedures/treatments to residents
- Administers prescribed medications/treatments
- Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment/examination of resident
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of resident
- Monitor vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident
- Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies & procedures
- Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned resident
- Supervises all staff to ensure safety of staff and residents during reattainments
- Supervises the delegation of staff during emergency situations and drills
- Assists Physician and Psychiatrist with resident examination as needed
- Assists with nursing services scheduling concerns
- Monitor/supervise CNAs for proper work documentation and completion. Comply with Federal, State and County law and codes
- Follow employment policies and procedures established by Trempealeau County Health Care Center
- Document services performed per HSS 132 and HSS 134 codes
Education/Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
Current Registered Nurse Licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Wisconsin
Obtain or have current CPR certification
Obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) Certificate

Pay: $24.62 - $39.03 per hour
