Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities and duties:
- Assesses and educates the patient and family/caregiver regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies and nursing related needs
- Initiates the plan of care and revises as necessary under the direction of the physician
- Provides those services and/or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
- Coordinates services and refers to other services as needed
- Supervises, delegates, and teaches duties and tasks to Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Home Health aides and others providing services, as appropriate
- Assists physician in evaluating the patient’s level of function.
Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications and skills:
- RN license with 1-2 years experience
- Previous home health experience preferred
- Current CPR license
- Valid drivers license along with reliable transportation and proof of insurance
- Must pass full background check and clear drug screen
- On-call
