RN Treatment Nurse - Full time/day shift

Falcons Landing/ Johnson Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our residents in Long Term Care and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will be responsible for evaluating and managing residents with wounds caused by disease, accidents, or surgical incisions. Will treat any skin infections or conditions as directed by the attending physician. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.
Falcons Landing is a Life Plan Retirement Community located west of Washington, DC in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia. We are a first-class Life Plan Community, privately held not-for-profit organization which provides an outstanding and caring work environment. Falcons Landing has a wonderful combination of residential homes, spacious apartments and three high class healthcare residences.
What you need:
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Must have experience in wound care and documentation of treatment plans and outcomes.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of infection control procedures
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- BS or other diploma from a nursing program
- Valid Virginia/compact RN nursing license
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination - required
