The Holiday Inn Express in Chanhassen MN is now accepting applications for Room Attendants. Room Attendants clean and make ready the sleeping rooms for our guest. Experience is a plus, but not a must, we will train the right candidate. We are looking for full time and part time associates with flexible hours. The qualified candidate will have an outgoing personality, be a team player, and once trained in, work with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Clean and service assigned guest rooms/suites in timely and organized manner according to standards/checklists.

Report cleaned rooms to supervisor when service of guestroom is complete to put back into inventory, if not occupied already.

Replenish guest supplies.

Report any guestrooms that cannot be serviced in desired time to the Supervisor.

Keep linen room locked and free of clutter and hazards.

Keep housekeeping cart neat and well organized according to standards.

Maintain security of guest information protecting their privacy.

Report items in guestrooms that need repair to supervisor, as well as send work order to engineering.

Ensure the protection of hotel equipment, such as keys, and other supplies issued daily.

Report lost and found articles to supervisors.

Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be guest service oriented.

No previous experience necessary.

Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.

Requires organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must have efficient communications skills to interact with hotel guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Some English necessary, other languages a plus.

Continuous standing.

Pushing, and pulling of cart vacuum etc., required.

Being able to lift 25lbs.
