Overview:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma preferred.
Experience: Prior customer service preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Great verbal communication skills. Have good decision-making skills. Basic telephone and computer skills required.
License and Certifications: Valid California Drivers License and approval by the hospital's insurance company as insurable, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card (must be obtained within 30 days of hire), and CPI (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
Equipment: Hand-held radio, vehicles, telephones, and computers.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
JOB SUMMARY
Greets customers entering lobbies or other designated posts. Provides information quickly and courteously for customers requesting the following; parking, location of hospital services or events, maintains visitor control and issues visitor wrist bands. Protects all hospital buildings, assets and premises as assigned. Communicates any imminent or potential safety issues directly to Security. Can include additional training on hospital security camera monitoring in order to post in the Security Operations Center.
