SAFETY & SECURITY OFFICER Job at Sibley Memorial Hospital
GENERAL SUMMARY: Protects life and property of all persons on Sibley Memorial Hospital premises and patrols Hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks and protects Hospital property. Responds to security needs of Hospital personnel. Effectively execute duties and responsibilities, maintain and utilize successful interpersonal and customer service skills.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in the field of law enforcement and/or security management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must satisfy the requirements to obtain a District of Columbia Special Police Officers Commission.
- Must possess a valid driver’s permit.
- Must be certified in CPR or obtain certification within 30 days of employment and maintain active CPR certification throughout employment at Sibley Hospital.
