Job Duties Include (not limited to the following):

• Create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees at all locations.·

• Assist leadership with providing real time safety and security solutions.

• Uphold consistent safety standards and procedures on how to handle dangerous situations such as theft, robberies, aggressive guests/employees, threats of violence, workplace violence, or weapons found on property.

• Escort staff members to their vehicles when requested (within reasonable distance).

• Regularly patrol the restaurants, grounds, and perimeters.

• Examine doors, windows, and corridors to determine that they are secure.

• Assist with guest problems and complaints.

• Ability to stand outside 8+ hours in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull up to 250 lbs.

• Ability to kneel and/or bend at the waist.

• Complete unannounced late-night store check-ins to ensure adherence of all safety and security practices.

• Lead by example at all times and in all areas by displaying Hogsalt values.

• Attend meetings, communicate to necessary leaders, track and follow-up on action items.

• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming while on duty.

• Reports directly to the Safety and Security Manager.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in Security.

• Previous military, law enforcement, loss prevention, or security experience is preferred.

• Professional and confident verbal and written communication skills.

• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to efficiently organize workload and adapt quickly to changes.

• Valid guard card/license in Illinois.

• Intermediate computer skills.

• Ability to handle and investigate crisis situations.

• Ability to identify problems and solve with or without direction.

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation
