The position has the option of being fully remote, onsite or a hybrid.
Position Overview:

  • Support the retail marketing and sales teams by providing business analysis and opportunities around the 4 P’s: Pricing, Promotion, Product and Placement. Partner with Trade Marketing Manager and Sales Managers to deliver recommendations.
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities at key retailers, provide visibility, insights, and recommendations to ensure the team and the customer meets its objectives of growing sales and profitability.
  • Responsible for reports, analysis and insights to the sales management based on the analysis of business results, competitive data, point-of-sale data, and future opportunities.
  • Ensures accurate and timely responses to requests for information specific to Dixon customers while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information.
  • Analyze consumer and point-of-sale data, to create sales presentations that support the sell in of our branded products to omni-channel mass market retailers and marketplaces.
  • Develop winning selling stories, strategies, and pricing in a timely manner for customer presentations and will analyze and deliver monthly reporting of product sales performance, consumer, and channel insights.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales Managers to manage the creation process of corrugated product packaging and displays and the annual display delivery calendar.
  • Support sales managers with new item setup and promotional forecasting
  • Develop best practices, processes and tools for data collection and retention.
  • Maintain GTIN and UPC assignments and database.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge around marketing strategies and trends
  • Proven analytical business and financial acumen, experience with syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen, NPD) a plus
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent cross-functional project management skills.
  • Knowledgeable of product management practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize thoughts and communicate clearly, completely, and concisely.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to understand data and determine a course of action.
  • Superior people skills to collaborate persuade and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Solid problem-solving capabilities with an orientation to details.
  • Able to stay flexible and agile in a fast paced and fluid work environment.
  • Capable of effectively working on a team and driving results.
  • Initiative-taking/self-directed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 3-5 years of analytically focused work experience in CPG Marketing or Sales, Finance, Sales Planning or Shopper Marketing experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in SAP a plus.

Working Conditions:
