Sales Assistant Job at Emerald Tree and Shrub Care
We are growing and we need additional sales staff to track and manage our incoming clientele! This individual will not only interact with customers when projects are taking place, but also prospect new clients and follow up with clients who have received proposals from our Arborists.
The ability to arrange team members’ schedules, communicate with prospective and existing customers, and track and manage company data while also learning a new trade - is essential. Listening to what experienced workers have to say is extremely important while getting to know the business. Most of the work will be in the office but there will be on-site training and necessary site visits.
Qualifications
- Punctual, detail-oriented nature
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn
- A passion for nature and the environment
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Sales experience – a plus but not required
- Horticultural experience – a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Receive and field incoming new business calls and emails
- Followup on sent proposals via email, call, text
- Prospect new business
- Develop, propose, and manage new business campaigns
- Liaise with marketing campaigns to track sales data and close new business leads
