Job Description

At The Darling Duck, we’re on a mission to create enjoyment and make people happy. Because retail shopping does not follow a typical 9-5 schedule, availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. This position require 15+ hours per week and start at $18 per hour. A team member will be expected to help customers, restock darling clothes, create and organize shelf displays, record inventory, handle returns, and operate the point-of-sale system. Team members must love and appreciate the lifestyle brand industry. A team member understands clothing, accessories, and gifts play a role in embracing babyhood and childhood. Babies and children live the good life too! These individuals will illustrate and showcase classic and traditional style and exemplify the T.B.B.C. lifestyle in the store setting.

About Landon & Ashley Clark:

The Darling Duck is owned by young entrepreneurs, Landon and Ashley Clark. When Ashley Clark was 22-years old, she was living at home, with her parents and her college degree, working a job she’d had since she was 15. Counting the number of times he’d been to a Kilwins on one hand, her dad made a suggestion out of the blue: “Have you ever thought about owning a Kilwins franchise?” That was October 2012. Landon and Ashley opened their first Kilwins store in 2013 in Greenville, SC. Fast forward to 2023 and Landon and Ashley have built a management company - Clark & Company Management Group - that owns and operates five Kilwins stores in NC, SC, and TN, and The Darling Duck in Highlands, NC. They love building relationships with their team. They teach their team to show up on time, deliver on promises, and be better communicators. They are passionate about inspiring their team members to do the things that inspire them. Landon and Ashley reside in Franklin, TN, with their two daughters and two hunting dogs.
