Connecticut Home Solutions is a local CT in-home sales, marketing and energy consulting company. We are currently hiring for an insulation sales consultant.
Our goal is to work with our customers to provide them with energy saving solutions for their homes. We work closely with state and local programs to ensure that residential customer's homes are energy efficient and that all eligible rebates for our products are provided to our customer base. Our goal is to provide end to end service from initial customer contact through submission of all eligible rebates or incentives. At Connecticut Home Solutions we will teach you everything you need to know about our products, the current programs, and financing that is available. We continue to increase our market share and are positioned for continued growth. As part of our sales team we take a consultative approach to educate our customers on our insulation and window products and services that are available.
Position Scope
Connecticut Home Solutions provides pre-set, pre-qualified appointments from interested customers who are being serviced by an unbiased third party.
Sales reps can also generate additional leads by self generating leads through referrals, meetings, shows, etc. This is a commission only position with a draw for 30 days during training.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell insulation within all of Connecticut -- travel required
- Present sales presentation and proposals in-home with residential customers
- Adhere to Connecticut Home Solutions policies and procedures
- Prepare and collect final contracts and deposits
- Submit financing paperwork
- Work small marketing events throughout the year
Requirements
- MUST have previous in-home sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to climb into attics and crawl spaces
- MUST have some basic construction and home improvement knowledge
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with energy programs is a plus but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible schedule required and must be able to work nights and weekends
- Ability to carry a ladder and/or 50+ lbs
Any in home sales experience a plus but not required. Renewal by Andersen, Pella, Castle Windows, Advanced, Tonnotti, Peoples Products, Marvin, etc

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
