Position Summary: Responsible for driving the sales process while maintaining the brand and values of the Air Force Enlisted Village. This position involves developing new prospects and leading them through their home-renting journey. The Sales Counselor must have excellent communication skills, the ability to listen and ask questions, provide solutions, implement timely follow up and ultimately close the sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Update and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) software.

· Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their objectives and needs.

· Set clear expectations about the next steps in the process and communicate the process to the prospect.

· Demonstrate persuasiveness and the ability to discover and overcome objections. Must be able to close the sale.

· Determines eligibility and priority of applicants.

· Follow-up with all prospect questions in a timely manner

· Responsible for processing incoming and departing resident processing.

· Ensures proper processing of applications and service agreements for P/CEO approval.

· Knowledge of floor plans and elevations and educate the prospect so that they can visualize their home.

· Ensures an active wait list is maintained, in accordance with standard operating procedures.

· Ensures contact is maintained with applicants to ensure apartments are filled in a timely manner.

· Schedule appointments and tours

· Track and record apartment renovations/modifications.

· Briefs and gives tours of Bob Hope Village.

· Prepare and processes correspondence for incoming and outgoing residents.

· Assist Receptionist with guests in lobby and answering phones.

· Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic while also having the ability to receive coaching and continually improve performance

· Assist other members of the sales team as needed and maintain positive relationships with coworkers.

· Works with other departments to assist with support requirements when needed.

· Achieve budgeted sales targets.

· Receive incoming telephone calls.

· Assist Director as needed.

· Additional duties as assigned

This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
