The Role

Select Star is seeking highly motivated people, with a passion for technology, and an interest in joining a fast growing, early stage start up environment. Our Sales Development team will be responsible for helping us build pipeline, drive revenue growth, and strengthen our team culture. If you are looking to grow your SaaS sales career and join a high-paced environment, this is it!

What you’ll do:

  • Generate sales pipeline by setting qualified introductory meetings with data experts, key stakeholders, and decision makers

  • Analyze inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone, email, and social

  • Assist with market research to build new opportunities through rigorous outbound calling efforts by creating/executing strategic phone, email, and social campaigns

  • Learn best in class sales fundamentals, processes, and methodologies while developing a great culture

  • Manage activity in Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting

Who you are:

  • Self-starter, with a passion about technology and growing a career in software sales, 6-12 months of customer facing experience is preferred

  • Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact

  • Great time management skills, with a strong track record of achieving goals while working autonomously

  • People person with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Interested in joining a fast-moving startup with opportunities for high growth for high achievers

  • Knowledgeable and interested in the modern cloud ecosystem, data warehouses, and/or business intelligence tools
