Summary:

Davis Tool, A leading producer of parts and complex assemblies in Hillsboro, Oregon has an opening for a Sales Engineer. We are looking for an experienced metals industry professional to manage relationships with large customers. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical, quality, and schedule support for customers

• Review customer needs, comparisons, and alignments to available Davis Tool processes

• Develop new business proposals from customer drawings, specifications, Bills of Material, cost and budget models

• Meet or exceed sales performance goals

Competencies

• Proficient in customer development and product evaluations

• Experience in custom manufacturing technologies

• Quoting parts and assemblies within a quality, lead time, and cost structure

• Communication skills with external and internal engineering and technical resources

• Experience with Aerospace or Medical products is a plus

Education and/or Experience

• 4 year degree in Engineering or significant experience, and

• 2-3 years Sales experience in Manufacturing/Aerospace or related field, and

• 1-2 years Precision machine services manufacturing
