JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES MANAGER CALIFORNIA
- Employment Status: Full Time
- Agency Manager Compensation Plan
- Agency Hours of Operation: 9:00am - 7:00pm, Monday through Friday & 10:00am - 3:00pm Saturdays
- Licensing requirements: Position requires a min. of a Personal Lines license. Unlicensed new hires will be provided 2 license test attempts and are required to obtain a min. of a Personal Lines license within 60 days of employment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train, develop & motivate agency staff
- Drive daily sales with Sales Agents
- Attend sales training meetings
- Coordinate Sales Agent activities
- Increasing sales for agency of non-standard automobile insurance
- Maintain healthy relationships with customers and ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Create campaigns for agency to drive revenue and coordinate customer appreciation activities
- Ensure all required prospect/client management and follow up activities are completed in compliance with
- company standards
- Ensure the agency is clean and properly stocked with marketing materials and office supplies.
- Ensure marketing efforts are in compliance with company standards
- Ensure the agency is meeting acceptable performance scores per the monthly Agency Evaluations
- Effectively communicate with other Agency Managers, Underwriting Personnel, and other departments
- Ensure that all claim inquiries are directed properly to the Claims Department
- Ensure that all policies are scanned as required
- Conduct weekly staff meeting and monthly reviews with Sales Agents and Sales Support/CSR staff
- Attend phone conferences and performance reviews with District Managers
- Ensure daily deposits are completed accurately and reported daily by 12 noon
- Attend company events when required
- Review all office transactions to ensure compliance with company and carrier partner standards
- Provide coverage for any absences and maintain flexibility to accommodate, as needed, ensuring office remains open per scheduled hours of operation
- Resolve any pending service or quality issues that may arise as a result of business transacted from within the agency
- Any other tasks directed by your supervisor
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Employment is contingent upon getting the P&C license within a 60-day period.
- Computer Proficiency.
Preferred:
- Excellent bilingual communications skills in English and Spanish.
