We are looking for a high impact sales leader to join our Precision Machining Division. This person is an ambitious and experienced sales professional who has a track record of developing and growing new customers while successfully maintaining existing accounts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, vision, and coaching to sales staff to achieve sales excellence and ensure the Wauseon business objectives are being met.
  • Manage assigned sales staff; continue to develop their sales skills, customer relationships, and accounts.
  • Actively encourage sales personnel daily to maintain high morale.
  • Lead effective weekly sales meetings that drive accountability and results.
  • Oversee customer visits to include travel with the Account Managers when necessary.
  • Support new business development, trade shows, and marketing.
  • Understand each customers’ business objectives to provide real, effective solutions that provide high value to the customer.
  • Ensure that the Wauseon Machine sales process is being executed consistently by all sales team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Background in management or leadership roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Strong business acumen and highly skilled at penetrating new markets, developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, developing winning sales strategies, and fostering customer relationships.
  • Manage communications, messages, organization of data, and documenting of interpersonal interactions with colleagues, vendors, and customers; so, clarity of facts is easily maintained and quickly recalled.
  • Develop clear sales growth strategies to meet opportunity pipeline and sales targets.
  • Excel at developing win plans and capture strategies for targeted opportunities while holding self and team accountable to achieve.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 365, and Teams.
