Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for selling guest rooms, meeting spaces and other hotel services to customer groups, managing accounts, conducting site inspections and generating business. Responsibilities also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documents, reports and contracts and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Manager also works in close contact with the Sales and Events team, as well as staff throughout the hotel.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience.
- Experience in booking large groups.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Refined written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Computer literacy required.
