Job Overview:
Assist the Outlet Department Manager in all areas of direct to consumer closeout sales, house and exclusive brand online sales and Outlet Store. Responsible for promotion, customer acquisition, and building sales on our online direct to consumer platforms. Listing products, keeping product listings maintained, promotions/sales, and other marketing efforts. Assisting with the returns/warranty duties in the department as needed.

Hours:
40 hours per week. Mon.-Fri. Schedule will be set by department manager at time of hire. Work hours can be scheduled around school if you are a student but must fit within our normal hours of operation with minor exceptions.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with a variety of outdoor equipment and its uses. Someone with a knowledge of climbing and climbing equipment, camping, backpacking, or enjoys the outdoors would be well suited for the job.
  • Willing to take initiative and make positive suggestions and contributions to improving the company.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Amazon’s Seller Central, eBay, and other 3rd party platforms or willingness to dive in head first to learn and improve selling capabilities
  • Social media skills – ability to create basic content for our Outlet Instagram/Facebook
  • The ability to use or learn our ERP Software (Navision)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills a must. Person will be dealing with end consumers and shops from across the USA and internationally.
  • Diplomatic skills - May need to discuss issues with customers and vendors via phone or email and do so diplomatically.
  • Efficiency - There are times when a large work volume will come through. We need someone who can buckle down and work without becoming too distracted.
  • Positive Attitude - This is an upbeat company so a good attitude mixed with a good sense of humor will fit with the culture.
