The Sales Support Coordinator, Retail Channel, will provide high-level support by performing clerical functions, preparing correspondence, conducting research, handling information requests, and. The Sales Coordinator will provide support to the National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, & Sales Specialist for Conventional Channel. This job will be done by performing administrative functions and handling information requests regarding specified Mass Accounts. This includes a compilation of sales data, assisting in the preparation of business review presentations, creating, and organizing details surrounding category review periods and new item/distribution gap fills, completing new item and promotional paperwork, and preparing and managing a variety of correspondence, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The Sales Coordinator will provide high-level support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. The Sales Coordinator places orders, EDI, Invoicing, Returns, Damages, and any Operational request necessary for helping National Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Analyst, and Specialists. The primary responsibilities are to support the Sales Team while handling the departmental back-end support of existing & new vendors to operate smoothly.
In this role you will:
- Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, and expenditures for Retail Channel
- Assist Sales Managers, Account Managers, & Specialist -Retail Channel in annual customer business reviews
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional, cordial, and timely manner, delivering accurate and complete responses via email and phone.
- Invoice sales orders and assist with other EDI functions
- Resolve billing information
- Provide order status information
- Assist customers with tracking and account management
- Prepare and push correspondence specific to the channel using Word, Excel, PowerPoint processing or database Reatil brokers, where necessary
- As applicable and directed, interact with customers providing the highest level of customer service to build and promote confidence in Nordic Naturals
- Support documentation report requests and expedite creation and delivery through an interface with Sales Analyst and Inside Sales Manager
- Maintain customer account workbooks and department ledgers
- Process customer orders
- Process Returns, damages, and credits for vendors
- Answer all questions for vendors, stores, and account managers
- Attend meetings and take notes on all action items and necessary information
- Manage Dropbox
- Create spreadsheets upon request from account managers (examples: reporting from vendor portals, etc.) and department needs (examples: SuperDIMS, Vendor contact lists, APL's per vendor, etc.)
- Work directly with different departments; Warehouse, Operations, Accounting, education, QA, etc. to handle and solve issues and build relationships
- Required to be knowledgeable, have relationships with and know all about our accounts and contacts, not just the account managers
- Maintain SOP's for all job responsibilities and individual vendors
- Assist in annual customer business reviews
- Manage and keep up trackers
- Miscellaneous projects when needed for the department
- Conduct Research, compile data and prepare proposals for consideration and presentations the account managers are creating

Other Skills and Abilities:
BA/BS in Business, Science or related field or 4 years experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Strong business writing skills, and experience in consumer package goods administrative functions a plus.
Pay and Benefits:
The estimated hourly pay for this role is $21.50-$23.00. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
