Summary
This position provides project management, support, process improvement identification and implementation, maintenance and training focusing on the Business Applications for After Sales and Services (SAP, FSM (SIS), ecommerce)
This opportunity reports into our Farmington, CT office and is offered as 100% remote.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Consultant for the business in after sales and services processes (ERP, field service administration and ecommerce systems)
- Provide end-to-end, 2nd level support and serve as contact for key users
- User Incident, Request and Demand Management
- Drive continuous improvement activities and projects
- Member of the S/4HANA Project Team to drive and support the successful implementation globally
- Build the Business Application Key User community and be the link to business process manager and IT Architects in the central department
- Develop and maintain key user training documentation and provide training to all new key users and existing key users as necessary
- Complete other tasks assigned from the direct supervisor per business requirement.
Key Skills/Talent/Knowledge
- SAP SD, CS, MM modules
- Shipping Management System (ShipERP)
- Field Service Management (SIS)
- ITIL and project and process management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Customer-oriented, conflict resolution skills and a cooperative leadership style
- Overarching understanding of business and production processes
- Experience in manufacturing industry, preferrable machinery
- Hands-on mentality combined with a results-oriented approach to work
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning
- Working in an international environment
- Fluent in English (verbally and in writing); some German language skills (verbally and in writing) a plus
Experience
- 5 years SAP working experience, preferably worked abroad in multinational environment
Education
- Undergraduate Degree/Business or Computer Science/Technology
- Graduate degree preferred or comparable working experience
