Attendant Requirements*
- Greet employees and visitors, recording arrival and departure time of all on-site personnel in daily log as required by MSHA regulations.
- Provide site specific training for all people entering the plant site, and maintain records of training.
- Notify incoming visitors and contractors of any safety requirements, including PPE and equipment inspections. Issue PPE as appropriate and provide instructions to return equipment to Security when departing the plant site.
- Complete Deputy Weighmaster duties including generating SAP tickets for trucks upon arrival. Upon departure, print and verify tickets, obtaining the driver’s signature and providing copies. Generate manual tickets if SAP is not available. Send tickets to Sales Department when completed. Notify Supervisor of any problems with SAP and tickets.
- Maintain all required logs and reports including, but not limited to, truck in and out times, ticket, time, rail car and rainfall logs.
- Maintain first aid box for employees and visitors, providing first aid as requested.
- Enforce traffic and escort regulations plant-wide. Notify responsible employee upon arrival, and direct or escort visitors and vendors as appropriate.
- Other duties as requested by Supervisor or plant managers.
- Valid Arizona driver license required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Security or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations helpful.
- Ability to use a computer for inputting information, generating tickets and completing reports required.
- Ability to achieve weighmaster certification.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications required.
- Experience with SAP is ideal.
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and considerate attitude and appearance at all times.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and operate at all times with a focus on safety.
Hours: Weekday day shift: 5 am to 5 pm every other Tuesday thru Friday
Weekend day shift: 5 am to 5 pm Saturday through every other Tuesday
Weekday night shift: 5 pm to 5 am every other Monday through Thursday
Weekend night shift: 5 pm to 5 am Friday through every other Monday
