Position Overview:

Under general supervision, employees shall accurately weigh raw material, scrap material, finished product, billets, and sub-products that are shipped and received.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Product is accounted for and accurately weighed.

Inspect and record data concerning tonnage, correct bundle quantities, and product description

Professional attitude, conduct self in business manner. Workspace is clean and in order, taking safety precautions into consideration

Accurate, timely weight of products being shipped and received.

Proper classification of product is imperative and of utmost importance when weighing truck shipments and gondolas.

Check Scale accuracy, invoice number sequence, heat numbers, bundle count and material classification.

Maintain Scale House and equipment according to prescribed methods and procedures.

Knowledge of Weigh Master computer equipment and Scale House operations.

Follow Proper invoicing procedures and shipping ticket and loaders checklist.

Control Daily records accurately

Keep informed of Concept of steel products and sale of such products

Register Weight as shown on scale weight ticket

Recording Accurate heat numbers, pre and post weight, classification of materials and products.

Product knowledge and computer system used in the scale house, including data entry, excel, word, and SAP system

Sort Weight tickets for different classification of materials being shipped from ArcelorMittal.

Distribution of Invoice and weight ticket for Scale, Customer, Shipping Dept., Sales and Accounting

Take Responsibility for Scale House incoming and outgoing activities.

Be Responsible for Scale House incoming and outgoing activities.

Register Information relevant to the shipping material, customer information, and confirmation number of specific load.

Maintain responsibility for proper handling and accounting of all load transfers, weight, and shipments

Cooperate with loaders/operators to ensure proper segregation of materials.

(EXPERIENCE) COMPUTER SYSTEMS.

(WORKING FORMATION) MANAGE P.C. AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE.

(SKILLS) DECISION TAKER, WORKTEAM, AND LEADERSHIP.
