Scheduling Specialist - Appointment Setter Job at IMA Payer Services
The IMA Group is seeking to hire a customer service professional for a Scheduling Specialist at the EVOnational location in Ijamsville, MD. This is a full time position.
The purpose of this position is to assure that all requests for services - IME, Record review, Depositions, FCE or diagnostic tests - are scheduled with an appropriate professional that meet EVOnational and The IMA Group standards.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule all exams requested by customers with an appropriate professional in a manner that follows EVOnational?s standards and procedures.
- Effectively manage communication with customers, providers and injured workers.
- Generate and process appointment letters.
- Generate and process cover letters.
- Communication with billing any needs for provider pre-payments or injured workers mileage reimbursement.
- Ensure the scheduling of ancillary services - transportation and or interpretation - are handled as requested.
- Provide exceptional customer service and streamlined communication to clients, physicians, attorneys, nurses and injured workers regarding all matters relating to the IME process.
- Enter referrals as needed.
- Answer the phone as needed.
- Any additional tasks as assigned.

Education
Minimum High School or GED equivalent, required.
Experience
1-3 years of relative experience required.
