POSITION: 2 School Psychologists, Full-Time – Union, Exempt (Iron & Dickinson Counties)
LOCATION: Currently located in Dickinson & Iron Counties, Michigan
SALARY & BENEFITS: Per EA Master Agreement Salary Schedule
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: School Calendar Year, Beginning 2022-2023
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s Degree in School Psychology
2. Satisfy the requirement of Special Education Rules – Certification and Licensure as a School Psychologist by the State of Michigan.
3. Driving may be necessary for this position which would require a valid driver’s license.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES: Provide consultation to teachers and families, psychological counseling, student assessment, crisis intervention, and other direct services to children with learning, behavioral, and emotional problems, and their families. Provide preventive services to improve the climate for learning. Work with classroom teachers to develop a behavior management plan for an individual student or for an entire class.
