Lantern Press is hiring for our busy season (summer) and we are willing to train great people!
Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, but can increase every 90 days if you are hired on as a regular (non-seasonal) employee.
This is a great resume builder for college students on break or workers in between jobs!
Three shift options available:
· Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
· Swing Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am (10% shift premium)
· Part time: We are willing to work with part time schedules that fit your needs!
For those that are looking for longer term employment, we have a great track record of converting successful seasonal employees to full-time, regular employees. We are very employee-friendly, are located in the SoDo District and have plenty of free parking.
The ideal candidates will exhibit the following qualities:
- Come to work with a great attitude
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proven track record of meeting goals and deadlines
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have reliable and punctual attendance
- Able to work standing in a production/assembly/warehouse environment for long periods of time (8+ hours/day for day shift; 10 hours/day for swing shift)
- Experience in light manufacturing or a warehouse environment preferred
- Must be able to speak English
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to use hands and fingers for detailed packaging work
