Security Manager Job at ResourceMFG
1. Driving operational security excellence in several separate facilities located within a short driving distance.
2. Constant vigilance will discover physical security gaps and shortcomings which will be driven to fix immediately.
3. Make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
4. Write and implement security process and procedures.
5. Write reports, create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
6. Monitoring environmental, health, and safety compliance, ensuring implementation of corporate policies and directives and facilitating OSHA programs.
7. Assist in the organization’s success by coordinating EHSS training with Operations, monitoring training effectiveness, and gaps, and managing the program to ensure the workforce has been appropriately trained and educated for the required tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Direct security employees in identifying, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout the property to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas.
2. Ability to walk a facility and observe security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance, equipment, and alarm point.
3. Investigate accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies.
4. Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goals.
5. Teach others the proper security processes and methods.
6. Enforce CT PAT requirements.
7. Enforce OSHA requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
1. At least five years experience in a security-related role
2. At least two years of experience in a management/supervisory role
3. Have a basic knowledge of CCTV and Surveillance systems
4. Have experience creating and enforcing policy and procedure
5. Must be a self-starter who can proactively manage their time
6. Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
