Exlog Global is looking for a highly qualified candidate to fill a full-time Security Officer position as part of a team at a client site in North Carolina. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Security Officer will stand post or patrol an assigned zone by foot, enforce policy and regulations, and investigate all facility related incidents

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to the client, its associates, and facilities personnel
• Patrol assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activity
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger client, its associates or public safety, including fires, evacuations, hazardous situations, or other facility-related events; provide back up to client personnel as needed
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete at all times; maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition
• Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required; submit reports as per SOP
• Investigate security-related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; responsible for gathering accident/incident information for incident report; complete report and follow up with management as needed
• Responsible for ensuring that all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have a proper company-issued identification
• Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Assist with crowd control and the Police Department/Fire Department/EMS or other officials during these processes

Experience and Skills

• 2-3 years of experience or relevant education
• Attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate trends which may have an impact on the organization, extending to environment and people
• Ability to interpret high volumes of data, from multiple sources
• The ability to compile concise and accurate reporting, using the appropriate verbiage for its audience
• Work well under pressure in moments of emergency response
• Responsive to changing environments and adaptable to unpredictable circumstances
• Strong client focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills
• Excellent skills, in MS office and Google Suite, and confident to learn new systems
• A team player who works professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
• An excellent understanding of client and business confidentiality
• Cultural awareness and ability to work alongside a global team
• Proactive and confident in articulating ideas with peers across organization
• Ability to demonstrate resilience and perseverance in difficult situations
• Additional ad hoc requests
