Security Officer/Front Desk Concierge

RPW Group is seeking a Concierge/Front desk/ Security officer position who will report directly to the Security Supervisor with a dotted line to the Property Manager. This individual is the first impression to our clients and requires a very professional and customer-oriented individual. This role interacts with high profile tenants, vendors, and on-site staff. The Concierge/ Security Officer is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers, and all visitors.
Essential Functions
- Follow site-specific post orders and other instructions provided by the Supervisor or Manager
- A good listener, proactive, resourceful and anticipates the need of visitors, tenants, and on-site staff
- People oriented and exceptional customer service. A self-starter, exceptional organizational skills and follow through
- Front desk personnel will provide support to RPW Group staff as needed for various tasks. The Front desk personnel will communicate often with RPW Group engineering, maintenance, and cleaning staff. Timely and clear communication is critical within departments to ensure smooth service execution.
- Diligently observe, immediately respond to and accurately document all scenarios, actions, conditions, or incidents regarding the general safety and security of the facility, its employees, tenants, customers, visitors, outside contractors or vendors, and assets.
- Respond to suspicious incidents and document the incident consistent RPW Group’s procedures on writing incident reports
- Monitor, respond and investigate all alarm conditions fire/life/safety and elevators
- Prepare Security Reports in a clear, concise, and legible manner
- Respond to and aid in any security related situation (i.e., fire, accident, medical emergency, vandalism) in accordance with law enforcement, client and client policies and procedures
- Take a role in fire, life, safety Emergency Response team and assist during fire drills
- Respond to all tenant inquires in a timely manner
- Dispatch service requests from Building Engines, close-out Building Engines work orders
- Verify Certificates of Insurance prior to authorizing contractor access.
Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic, dependability, and be highly accountable and responsible

- Self-motivated and shows initiative
- Flexible and have highest ethical and professional conduct, integrity, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Microsoft Office programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintain knowledge of appropriate federal, state, and local statues and ordinances, as well as regulatory requirements as it relates to your job function
- Maintain all state/federal licensing and/or registration requirements for Security Officers and always carry issued license on your person while on duty
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required. State Security Office License a plus but not required and/or meet qualifications to complete state required Security Officer Registrations. One (1) year of previous Security experience preferred. Be able to obtain First Aid/CPR training where applicable.
