Summary:

Performs security and administrative duties for the facilities’ reception post. Security responsibilities include access control of all visitors, monitoring of security related CCTV, alarm monitoring/response, incident response/coordination with Security Operations Center, and security related reporting. Responsibilities may include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports, training and performing security related functions, and customer relations. Requires strong computer and internet research skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

This position will be staffed 32 hrs/week as Receptionist and 8 hrs/week in a Security role.

Responsibilities:

§ Perform access control related duties, to include guest management. Greet guests and perform customer service-related activities.

§ Issue access badges, including temporary, vendor and guest badges

§ Answer, evaluate and route all external calls

§ Execute employee and vendor end-of-assignment policies. Coordinate with Human Resources as needed.

§ Process incoming communications, including mail, email and voice.

§ Review and adjudicate voicemails.

§ Monitor activities within the Reception Area through CCTV/Alarm monitoring.

§ Assist facilities team members as needed

Qualifications:

§ High School graduate and three years of experience or college degree

§ Demonstrated commitment to the security and reception team mission

§ Experience working with high-level individuals in complex, unstructured situations

§ Prior experience in organizational coordination, including managing internal and external interactions and relationships

§ Ability to effectively prioritize projects, completing work in a timely and thorough manner

§ Successful completion of a background review and drug screening

§ History of success in roles requiring logical, systematic thinking while managing multiple priorities in a changing environment

§ Must have excellent writing and analytical skills

§ Must be able to create and cultivate trust and transparency in all relationships

§ Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.23 per hour
