Sedgwick County Coordinator/Parenting Educator Job at Baby Bear Hugs
Qualifications: Associates degree preferred plus three to five years relevant experience.
Hours: Half time
- Skills: Community outreach, leadership, supervision experience, energetic, optimistic, self-motivated and organized. Skills in writing and experience using computers, technology, and the Internet. Passion for and understanding of child development, parenting education, and early childhood education.
- Coordinator role will be responsible for the county program, Advisory Committee etc. Parenting Educator position will deliver visits to families. There are job descriptions for each position, but these will be combined to form one position. Please see website for these job descriptions.
- Educate and inform other agencies, organizations, and public at large about the programs of Baby Bear Hugs.
· Must support child immunizations, Baby Bear Hugs non-smoking and elimination of second hand smoke policies.
· Must attend regional Baby Bear Hugs meetings/trainings in Yuma.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
