Primary Functions

The care and service of clients assigned to them. The SR. Account Manager needs to work efficiently with their Producers while following the new business & renewal business protocols. Train, support & delegate work to the team, while overseeing. Help maintain the relationships with the carriers.

Major Responsibilities

  • Obtain / Keep up to date CISR Designation
  • Coordinate & hold weekly meetings with Producers and Teams to go over renewal, new business & day to day items of importance
  • Provide ongoing training and support to their team
  • Market New & Renewal business according to the Protocols in place
  • Prioritize workload and assist team in doing so.
  • Keep Producers fully informed on all-important activities on their accounts.
  • Delegate enough work & renewals to the AMS, so the SR. Account Manager has time to audit the work of the team
  • Make sure your teammates are trained property on all work items
  • Audit the work (tasks and email inbox/sent items) of your teammates on a monthly basis. (tasks – is AM making tasks or working from their inbox?) (Is AM following up on tasks?) (Is AM documenting/attaching all from inbox and sent items?)
  • Provide continual, prompt feedback to our insureds, producers & carrier partners
  • To make a point to call (over the phone) 2 insured’s/week to follow up on any changes, touch base, etc. (keep list of who has been called)
  • Communicate with Producers and teams in an effective, professional manner.
  • Consistently Market accounts in ImageRight & make sure team is doing so– OneNote can still be utilized, but all must now be attached to IR as its being worked.
  • Review Producer’s AR report and advise on credits & on amounts outstanding with producer.
  • Run/Review Producer’s production report on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education / Licensure / Experience

Must have current Insurance license.

Bachelor Degree preferred and/or 5 years of direct experience as a SR. Account Manager for Commercial Lines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables, to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Skill and ability to type 45-50 wpm, operate a computer, organize and prioritize work. Must be able to meet deadlines and operate office equipment. In addition, they must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Skill and ability to sell.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
