Senior Acquisition Specialist Job at MCH Consulting Services LLC
MCH Consulting Services, LLC., a management consulting firm, has an immediate need in the Washington, DC area for a Senior Acquisition Specialist with experience in providing acquisition life cycle support to Federal Government Agencies. The successful candidate will work as a critical member of an integrated client team and will incorporate extensive acquisition experience into a large-scale, high technology procurement effort.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (But Not Limited To):
- Serve as a key company interface with the customer on a daily basis.
- Provide integration and communication: between technical personnel such as engineers/scientists and procurement personnel such as contracting officers/specialists; and across working groups, technical committees, and integrated product teams.
- Perform assessments to determine the most effective acquisition approaches for the client.
- Define and develop a detailed acquisition strategy, process flow, and implementation plan for major IT systems.
- Capture and analyze acquisition stakeholders to define their needs/requirements for the process and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and report risk status to program leadership.
- Analyze requirements to identify trends, overlaps and deficiencies.
- Perform market research in support of the acquisition of commercial items and services.
- Develop statements of objectives (SOOs), statements of needs (SONs), statements of work (SOWs), and/or performance work statements (PWSs).
- Support independent cost analysis tasks and integrate analysis results into acquisition efforts.
- Develop procurement package documents including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP).
- Define evaluation factors and criteria.
- Support vendor selection activities.
- Apply project management best practices to client processes and to overall management of the contract for the company.
