JOB TITLE: Senior Analysts (Shore Infrastructure)
SUMMARY: DAWSON is looking for the next Senior Analysts to support our federal customers. This position is in support of the United States Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center and Office of Civil Engineering at Coast Guard Headquarters. The Project Manager will provide Project Management, Strategic Planning, Performance Analysis, and Reporting, Process Improvement and re-engineering, Data Analytics and Policy Support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with a Government Representative as necessary.
- Participate in strategic Program / Operations planning
- Communicate across programs, to identify, assess, collaborate and resolve any conflicts with program requirements
- Prepare and present information for Monthly management reviews, summarizing program status and any on-going production issues.
- Establish and maintain strong relationship with government customer
- Prepare updated training materials, primarily in the form of PowerPoint slides, to support government-led training.
- Strategic Planning
- Creating and implementing best practices for facility maintenance or construction.
- Engineering expertise which includes the following areas:
- Piers, wharves, docks, and waterfront structures
- Offshore structures
- Airfields and related systems
- Utility generation and distribution systems
- SCADE Systems
- Energy Monitoring Systems
- Forensic analysis of engineering systems failures
- Environmental Engineering
- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Small arms firing ranges
- Structural pavements
- Building control systems
- Towers and communications systems
- Training Facilities including laboratories
- Fire protection engineering
- Environmental regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in asset management and infrastructure engineering disciplines
- 5 or more years of professional expertise in field
- College graduate in related field
- Maximo 7.6 software. Experience with USCG system (SAM) is preferred.
- BUILDER software
- Data mining and analysis
- Understand and utilize Structured Query Language (SQL) data.
- Conducting complex qualitative and quantitative studies, research and analysis to evaluate, integrate or improve program/project efficiency.
- Experience with AutoCAD and GIS software
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities and accepting new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Be committed to work as a team member for the benefit of the customer.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all customers (soldiers and civilian).
