Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is seeking a customer-oriented professional to join our Events team and help coordinate, manage, and execute the engagement activities of a portfolio of MLT partner (client) organizations participating in MLT recruiting activities and events. MLT partners train, educate, inspire, and recruit MLT undergraduate and MBA fellows by participating in a wide range of in-person and virtual / remote activities with MLT coaches and fellows: conference calls, webinars, networking receptions, case studies, panels, interviews, and a range of sessions at in-person seminars. Companies’ willingness to partner and continue to renew their annual MLT partnership depends on their successful engagement and execution with MLT’s programs.

MLT’s business model is relationship oriented, unlike most diversity talent programs that are event- or transaction-oriented. Employers partner with MLT for a year of engagements through multiple touch points with fellows / students who themselves are navigating a 12-18 month career discovery, professional development, and recruiting journey.

The Senior Associate, Partner Operations focuses on refining, coordinating, and optimizing MLT partners’ participation in MLT’s recruiting activities / events, and coordinates the hosting when a partner holds an in-person seminar or event, particularly for MLT alumni.
This high-visibility, fast-paced position is based in MLT’s headquarters office in the Washington, DC Metro area working in close collaboration with MLT’s Partnerships and Programs teams.

The Senior Associate, Partner Operations manages, coordinates, and optimizes partner participation, activities, and hosting with and for MLT partners and is responsible for recruiting success including:

  • New partner onboarding
  • Regular partnership calls and meetings (generally monthly or as needed), and sharing and reviewing the MLT Events Calendar with all partners
  • Scheduling and coordinating partner participation in seminars, events, sessions, case studies, interviews, coach calls, webinars, etc. including all communication and follow-up
  • Managing and assessing the recruiting timelines and event calendars of MLT and third-parties
  • Gathering / analyzing / reporting data and feedback on recruiting statistics at every stage
  • Gathering and maintaining updated info on each partner's recruiting timelines and roles for MLT Fellows, and working cross-functionally to drive top MLT talent to partners
  • Coordinate and connect fellows / rising leaders and partners together during national conferences where MLT fellows and alumni convene
  • Work with Alumni Engagement, Alumni Chapters, and MLT Marketing & Communications for events

Required knowledge, skills, and attributes include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required and 1 - 3+ years direct involvement with large-scale recruiting event planning and execution in a corporate, professional services, financial services, or technology firm, or with a professional industry association
  • Customer service orientation with the interpersonal effectiveness and emotional intelligence to develop positive, win / win relationships with MLT partners
  • Strong project management capabilities in order to manage engagements with multiple partners and outside resources
  • Well-organized and detail oriented with the ability to efficiently support multiple tasks concurrently with minimal supervision
  • Process orientation toward continuous improvement
  • Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented, cross-functional environment; dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty; and providing process structure and clarity
  • Fluidity with technology, particularly cloud-based databases and systems with the ability to manage and analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions
  • Experience working with Salesforce platform preferred
