What does it mean to be a Senior Billing Manager at Supplemental Health Care?

The Senior Billing Manager will oversee all billing operations setup, processes, and functions relating to client invoicing. The Senior Billing Manager is also responsible for the administration of the billing system. The Senior Billing Manager will align billing system capabilities with the contractual terms required from the clients. The Senior Billing Manager will maintain confidentiality and the Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

What your day-to-day looks like:

  • Manage billing operations with the Billing Manager and Billings Supervisors to prioritize functional workload, leveraging individual expertise and deliver timely and cost-effective business Solutions
  • Evaluate current processes and ensure controls are implemented in Billing Operations
  • Administer the billing system
  • Complete performance appraisals and provide developmental guidance as appropriate, including regular one-on-one meeting with direct reports and schedule periodic one-over-one as appropriate
  • Partner with the Revenue teams to develop contract language that aligns with the billing system capabilities and ensure contract language around billing is executable
  • Ensure all billing is accurate and all revisions corrected in a timely manager
  • Provide regular updates as appropriate, including documentation for business reviews
  • Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will possess to succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • Experience: 3-5 years leadership in billing
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
  • Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required

Pay Range: Base Pay is between $94,000 to 136,000 with bonus
