Senior Business Analyst Job at Savvee Consulting, Inc.
Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our federal client in Washington, DC. This role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, digest, analyze, and disseminate an array of information, a sharp attention to detail and accuracy is key. Candidates must have a knowledge-level of a subject matter expert in business analysis.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Essential Functions
- Validating and analyzing data to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual program metrics
- Developing, calibrating, and sustaining all of the Procurement Instrument Identifier (PIID) programs (e.g. investigative and intelligence metrics)
- Preparing communication products for conducting briefings for leadership, regional personnel, and external stakeholders
- Providing technical editing, revisions, and proofreading of all policies, memorandums, and other documentation
- Supporting the compilation of reports for all requests (regional, external stakeholders, and leadership)
- Serving as the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) administrator for all users, external stakeholders, and coordinating access and content management
- Evaluating current processes and procedures and recommending changes to improve efficiencies
- Delivering Law Enforcement Management System (LEMIS) training documentation to all FPS investigators
- Supporting agents with updated departmental documentation
- Developing. Implementing, and/or monitoring sophisticated management information systems
- Analyzing and interpreting data, policy, and regulatory decisions to develop program plans
- Providing the COR a monthly Project Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) by the 15th of each month that details the status of specific projects
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
Requirements
Education & Training
- Master’s degree
Minimum Experience & Skills
- Twelve years of program/project management experience
- Must be able to obtain a government suitability
- Proficient with Microsoft Office’s suite of products including Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Education/Certifications & Skills
- Project/Program Management certification
