Black Rock Manufacturing (BRM) is expanding our 5th Axis division.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time Senior CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring they produce high-quality parts and products in a timely and efficient manner. Experience with multi-axis Fanuc machines is preferred.
Our equipment is <2 years old, in our full climate-controlled facility, with complimentary snacks and drinks on-site, and cigars on Friday’s.
We are actively expanding our 5th Axis division, but do not require any additional full-time operators. The ideal candidate for this position wants flexibility in their scheduling, while operating in a high-level facility with professionals in an ISO9001 environment. You will be able to make your own schedule, between Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, ideally 15-30 hours per week.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in CNC machining
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience with CNC operation and programming
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Willingness to work part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- 5th axis operation and programming experience is preferred
