About this Opportunity:
As a Senior Product Manager on our Data Science team, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders in product, growth, construction operations and finance to deliver analytics and insights across the company. You’ll help define and execute the data science team’s vision and strategy by owning our core data roadmap and ensuring successful data product launches and lifecycles. This role will report to Jess Steele, our Director of Data Science, and will be a key contributor to the Data Science team’s ongoing strategy, process and hiring efforts.

The Senior Data Product Manager is a remote role and is expected to be online during core business operation hours (9am-5pm local time).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with company stakeholders to better forecast and report on business and product performance
  • Translate business problems into concrete customer needs and technical specifications
  • Manage a data science team roadmap that clearly articulates future releases and longer-term strategy
  • Prioritize highest leverage work for data engineering and analytics teams, organized around short-term delivery and long-term strategy
  • Manage a backlog of requests and ideasIdentify opportunities where advanced analytics and machine learning can solve specific business challenges
  • Provide mentorship and professional development for junior team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in a data science related field or equivalent technical experience
  • 7+ years of professional work experience; inclusive of: 5+ years of professional experience as a data scientist or analyst & 2+ years experience as a product manager or team leader building and launching data products
  • Domain expertise of the modern data stack
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to translate data analysis findings to key stakeholders
  • Ability to understand, discuss and challenge trade-offs with technical team members

Base Pay Range:

  • $112,000 - $176,000 *Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Mosaic is a flex-first work environment, meaning some of the roles are worked primarily on a remote basis with some visibility to the corporate offices while others are worked physically in the corporate office or other such assigned in-person physical hub with some flexibility for occasional remote. These schedules are pre-designed and physical workspaces pre-determined based specifically on the position and visibility needs.
