Senior Developer Job at Continental Finance Company

Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Senior Developer to support our IT department.
As a full stack Senior Developer at CFC, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and be encouraged to learn and develop skills both within and beyond your role. You’ll be working in the highly collaborative office developing and working with machine learning technology, surrounded by passionate, high-performing individuals to solve complex problems and make a meaningful impact on the business!
***CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)***
Essential Functions:
- Design, code, test, debug, and support Web Applications using a variety of Microsoft technologies, including .Net, C# and SQL Server as well as front-end frameworks such as React.js.
- Design and build serverless Web APIs and microservices to support front end applications.
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and apply these to a variety of projects as applicable. Research and evaluate a variety of software products to support business needs & initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise application development utilizing Microsoft technologies.
- Strong experience with C# programming language and/or other.NET languages
- Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React.JS or Vue.JS
- Knowledge of web service concepts (REST, JSON, XML).
- Experience with serverless technologies in AWS a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL Server technologies and experience developing database applications using SQL server.
- Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
- Extensive experience with unit and integration testing.
- Experience analyzing and resolving technical issues.
