Who We Need

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing automation, pipeline, observability, and other DevOps practices & tooling into our project. Mentoring System Administrators into the DevOps world will also be helpful.

What You'll Do

• Help design and develop test automation practices to enable CI/CD operations.
• Script build and deployment logic to move code and configurations through the computing landscapes
• We're looking for resources skilled in Linux shell scripting and/or Windows PowerShell, Docker and containers, and cloud deployments using infrastructure-as-code techniques
• Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Some of the areas we'll investigate and help our clients with will include:
• Developing Digital Threads from multiple data sources, including threads for digital twins and would-be / could-be variant designs for twins
• Help design and develop the data flow between multiple engineering packages, and between multiple modelling and simulation tools.
• Develop prototypes and demos using Industry 4.0 and Cloud tools
• Analyzing data from Enterprise IT Systems, Infrastructure, Applications, and Tools, support digital technology focus areas including:
• System consolidations & convergence
• Technology obsolescence
• Technology insertion (Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), and Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF))
• Hosting
• Platform migrations
• Data center migrations
• Software as a Service
• Data management, fusion, and advanced analytics
• Industrial Internet of Things
• Industry 4.0
• Network & application performance
• Operational technology insertion (e.g. Robotics, Automation, Manufacturing, and Predictive Analytics)
• Compute, Data, and Network Industry 4.0 Reference Architectures
• The ability to obtain and retain a security clearance is required.
• Jira / Confluence toolset is a plus.
• Working in a Agile sprint delivery focused environment is a plus.
• Flexibility in working for a small business in a project of building a new environment is helpful.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus; if not present, the ability to obtain a certificate within 3 months of hire is required.
