As Senior Digital & Partnership Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for building, leading, and executing integrated consumer activation plans across paid, owned and earned touchpoints to deliver accelerated growth for the TruRoots portfolio of brands which today includes natural and organic category leaders: RW Knudsen Family juice drinks; Santa Cruz Organic beverages and sauces; and TruRoots grains.
With a relentless focus on the consumer, you'll own consumer journey planning and delivering a connected, congruent consumer experience to deliver a value exchange at every stage. The right candidate should have extensive integrated marketing strategy, planning, execution, and measurement experience with deep understanding of the investment levers and allocations across audiences, channels and tactics to deliver against business objectives. You'll need to have experience across paid, owned and earned tactics as and understanding of consumer activation digital ecosystem creation.
The Senior Digital & Partnership Marketing Manager should be on the pulse of consumer trends and cultural movement and bring a network of contacts, expertise and out-of-the-box thinking related to partnerships and collaborations, including but not limited to celebrities, influencers, lifestyle brands, services, peer CPG companies, retailers, etc. You should be skilled in integrated program planning that aggregates Partner, PR, Influencer, Social Digital, and Shopper marketing to cleverly break-through and elevate awareness and share of voice. Development of KPIs, measurement plans and performance reporting are a must. You'll need to have extensive digital activation acumen and be well-versed in digital content, media-to-shelf; eCRM (including consumer acquisition, engagement and retention and 1stparty data); web, SEO, marketing technology tools; shoppable content; performance media). Development of KPIs, measurement plans and performance reporting skills required.
This critical role requires a positive mindset, collaborative spirit, and agile approach to successfully concept and execute plans and drive progressive brand growth in partnership with internal peers and external agency partners.
You must be located near Chicago, IL. Position is currently remote, but will have an office in Chicago soon. Then, position will be onsite.
Skills Needed:
- Leadership of overall consumer engagement strategy brand strategy and ability to translate strategies into plans to deliver against brand and organizational objectives
- Ownership of activation budget and allocation by channel and tactic
- Consumer-focused thinking and ability to develop connected, congruent experiences to build brand love and deliver against financial objectives
- Deep knowledge of consumer journey planning and ideal communications tasks and tactics by stage from awareness through to conversion
- Deep knowledge of shopper marketing, PR, media relations, retail media, consumer promotions, partnerships, brand collaborations
- Working knowledge of digital media, social media, influencers, web, SEO, SEM, performance media.
- Analytically minded and able to translate data into insights into activation with the ability to correlate marketing impact on core business metrics (e.g., sales, share, category, loyalty, etc.).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 8+ years progressive digital marketing and partnership activation experience, ideally in CPG (challenger brands), digital media, retail media, etc.
- Start-up or private-equity experience
- Partnership, licensing and/or product collaboration experience
- 360 activation planning expertise across the full consumer journey
- Digital and e-commerce marketing and media expertise
- Experience partnering with TikTok, Meta, Google/YouTube, and Pinterest
- Deep understanding of audience strategies and agile activation
- Experience setting learning agendas and developing and implementing nimble test & learn programs
- Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt storytelling as needed to inform and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience with challenger or private equity backed brands
- Expertise in growing share in challenged environments
- Keen eye for consumer and design trends
