We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for design activities and projects encompass new products, feature adds to existing products, and sustaining tasks. This candidate will work with and provide some supervision to lower-level engineering staff while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices & Hologic design control standards.

• Individual drives tasks to completion with urgency and commitment to business priorities.
• In-depth knowledge of full product life cycle of electrical/electronic products.
• Provides technical leadership and supervision to lower-level engineering staff.
• Contributes & directs engineering personnel in product design and prototype builds, associated test apparatus, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing of development systems.
• Design & Test Experience
• Basic analog design
• Medium digital design
• Cable and harnessing design familiarity
• Printed Circuit Board design experience (not required to drive the CAD tool)
• Power distribution familiarity
• Verilog or VHDL Design experience strongly recommended
• Knowledge of at least one schematic capture CAD tool a must
• Knowledge of design simulators (Spice, Power Integrity, Signal Integrity) a plus
• Knowledge of high voltage, detector imaging, or x-ray design a plus
• Knowledge of Motor Control a plus
• Must be able to debug medium complex electronic designs to a component level.
• Must be able and willing to perform hands-on testing and repair work required to support assigned activities as needed when support from technicians may not be readily available.

What We Expect:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of working in a regulated industry (such as medical, aerospace, automotive)
• At least 3 Years of working full product life cycle of electrical/electronic products.
• Excellent electrical/electronic problem solving and troubleshooting skills required.

Accepts accountability for assigned tasks.

• Significant technical contributor of specifications and schedules.
• Must be able to apply electrical design techniques and possess knowledge of practical technologies and fabrication solutions for the design of complex electromechanical products.
• Participating in Cross functional teams AND Electrical Engineering community

Specialized Knowledge:

• Zuken CAD experience is a plus, especially CADSTAR/eCADSTAR Schematic Capture
• Microsoft Office Suite is a must
• Knowledge of design controls is a must
• Knowledge of electrical EMC compliance standards is a plus
• Understanding of medical device compliance standards is a plus (e.g. IEC 60601-1)

The annualized base salary range for this role is $87,700 to $137,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
