Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide and prepare financial reports & analyses for TAH/TMC Management and must be able to conduct financial analyses independently and accurately. Lead in the completion of the annual and mid-term business plan. This position will provide primary financial support to the TMP business unit and will be required to interact with both internal and external customers on all financial matters.

Job Details/Responsibilities

o Prepare various forecasts, comparing to plan and prior periods.
o Analyze operational results for variances of actual to plan and prior year for P&L and balance sheet accounts and provide financial narratives summarizing significant variations for business unit and TAH management.
o Manage Volume Incentive Plan for TMP including forecasting, understanding changes, and calculating, tracking and issuing payouts.
o Responsible for full TMP P&L planning including loading and extracting data in Hyperion.
o Prepare and submit monthly journal entries.
o Prepare quarterly inventory reserve.
o Provide TMP Sales & Unit information to Supply Chain and support IBP requests.
o Support Sales & Marketing in developing the TMP Revenue plan.
o Review and approve commission payouts, Ringi requests, and related invoices.
o Prepare and submit monthly Sales Report to TC.
o Prepare and report monthly consolidated TAH Sales Report.
o Prepare for all financial presentations for internal and external reviews.
o Trend historical financial information to ascertain patterns and reflect trends. Conduct competitor analyses and business intelligence for all TAH subs and provide narratives on the variances.
o Participate in the distributor review of monthly forecasts that will be communicated to TMP, TMC, and TC management.
o Conduct any Ad Hoc financial analyses per TAH Finance and TMP management request.
o Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Excellent analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented while still able to see the “big picture”
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication (oral and written) skills
  • Possesses initiative, customer focus, and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems and ultimately prevent them from reoccurring
  • Proven ability identify financial variances and verify accuracy from TAH subs financial submissions
  • Proven ability to build and run complex, detailed and accurate financial models
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sr. management
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • 4 Year College Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. MBA, CPA, CFA or any other designation is a plus but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Previous Medical Device industry experience a plus
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
